Tamari Davis, a sophomore at Oak Hall High School in Florida ran 7.36 seconds (60m) and 23.66 seconds (200m) to cap a pair of victories in the 15-16 division at the USATF Indoor Hoover Alumni Invitational Track Meet in Alabama on December 29, 2018. Davis ran a control race and exploded in the final 20m to stop the clock at 7.36 seconds in the 60m, which is a US#1.
Davis who has a personal best time of 7.25 seconds in the 60m, is set to dominate the US high school circuit this year. Davis winning time of 23.66 seconds in the 200m in her season debut is 0.42 seconds off her lifetime best time of 23.24 seconds which ran in New York in March 2018.
